DAVE HILTON HAS PAID HIS DEBT, WORK DENIED=JUSTICE DENIED

DAVE HILTON DID NOT GET A LIFE SENTENCE. Whatever debt he had towards society he paid regardless of his being innocent or guilty. To go on bashing him and preventing him from future work as a boxer (that's how the man earns his living) is spitting on our justice system and not believing in the rehabilitation of people. By not forgiving him you are saying that you should not ever be forgiven for anything you may have done yourself in your life.

If the tribunal set his sentence to be this or that, then it is that. Of course we find that certain judges hand out slaps on the wrist from time to time and yes I agree that it is frustrating. As a society do we want to be a hand of vengence or a hand that says the past is the past.If we cannot partake in this movement then we are denying ourselves the right to be a just and fair society.

It does not mean that having served time in prison made him a saint, and there will always be a watchfull eye on him, but the man deserves a second chance. It is an excellent occasion to prove that our justice system works. If you feel that he does not deserve a second chance, then you can never expect others to give you a second chance, because you are saying it won't work, I will offend again.
