Being the thorn that Hérouxville had become, especially on the eve of an election wise Prime Minister Charest decided it was best to sweep it under the rug by creating a commission to study the matter,That in a way is what André Drouin wanted although not said as eloquently. Anyone asking the Gov't questions will be told there is a commission looking into that, just as simple as for a court case, we cannot talk about it, it is before the courts. Taking advantage of the frenzy around Hérouxville's''maladresse'' is publicity craving Huntingdon's Mayor Stephane Gendron who got his City counsel to vote a browny point fetching code welcoming immigrants to Huntingdon. The points were to launch his candidacy for the P.Q.claiming he had been approached twice by André Boisclair.Now Boisclair says no one at the PQ ever sollicited Gendron's candidacy,including himself.Of course we know that puppet Master Parizeau got in there and gave instructions.Gendron much too loud and power hungry would be in the way of Parizeau's wife Lisette Lapointe when they choose to replace Boisclair after the election. The PQ is known to devour it's leader.
