QUÉBEC GIVING ITSELF A BIG ''R'' MORATORIUM

By electing Dumont and his ADQ as the official opposition party the Québec nation is putting the big ''R'' to sleep for at least another four years and maybe the Liberals can go about running the affairs of the province without the thorn in it's foot the separatists have been.
Some critics say that Dumont does not have a team but neither did the PQ when it got into power in 76,all it had was an IDEAL. One thing the ADQ does have is people who want to change things and not people who just want to be prophets in their own country who claim to be the intellectual force to carry the mandate.
Under the PQ we saw people with visions of grandeur with no regards for the little guy,the PQ had to build huge monuments to it's supposed accomplishments but a lot of people claim that it only got rid of the church's control over everything and appropriated that control for itself.
By having the ADQ there the work of the politicians would be that of tending to the real issues because the passion would be based a common passion ''making it work''.
With the PQ it would again resemble a hetero marriage with one of the spouses being gay. Yes the bills would be paid, the house would be clean, they would attend parties together look and act like a real couple but the passion would not be there to build towards something and neither of the partners would ever be satisfied. The ADQ would get the Liberals moving on different matters they would be real opposition they would be talking the same language and not constantly having another intention and agenda. The money saved by not having another referendum could go towards education or health,in other areas we would have real debate which is the true role of opposition.I believe it is time for Quebecers to breathe.
