DUCEPPE " FEDERALISM WORKS "
Are these the words of Bloc Québecois leader Gilles Duceppe now that the budget is in ?
It would seem to me that Duceppe is not at All helping Boisclair and his PQ team in the present Québec election. By supporting the new HARPER budget in order to avoid a federal election he is saying to quebecers that it works for Québec to remain part of Canada and that Federalism does work. Look at all that money coming through door cracks and keyholes.
The dirty little world of politics is almost IRONIC The Federal PC is supporting the Quebec liberals because it needs votes in Québec. The Seperatists in the Bloc are supporting the Federal Conservative Party because of the money and because Duceppe wants to avoid an election knowing that Boisclair and his PQ are almost sure of loosing this election. On the other hand Dion and Layton want to defeat the PC's budget because this is not such a good time for the PC to launch an election,without Québec support, it would again be a minority Govt.
IS THERE A PARTY THAT GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF CANADA ?
At present it would seem that none do, it is all about getting elected or re-elected and to hell with the real issues.
